“I visited Wild Origin Kabini with my parents and my sister. The warmth and humility of the property owner and his entire staff was memorable. The place is well maintained and beautiful. My elderly parents felt comfortable and at ease which was biggest plus point for me. The food is DELICIOUS. It's authentic, especially flavours of all spices and fresh produce stands out. We loved every minute of our experience there. Must try!”

“Excellent place, would definitely recommend it to other couples especially and it’s also child friendly. The views and pool etc are even better than the photos and the staff are extremely hospitable and a bonus is that the staff are mostly localities so very easy to communicate as well. Good accessibility, the roads to it are decent except for one small stretch of 1 km approx. The Spa could do with improvement, had mixed feelings about the experience which may not have matched the pricing. Overall great experience! ”

“I visited Jungle Lodge Resort for a night: 5th to 6th July. We planned earlier also a few times to visit this place but felt it was too costly. Finally, this time we decided to go there. The location is great just on the bank of the river. However, the facility needs a major makeover. At the reception you get a feeling of govt office not a resort feeling where the staff makes you feel that you are welcome to the place. There is no designated parking but just open space where you can part your vehicle and it has marking "Parking at owner's risk." We stayed at the tent house. It was a very pleasant weather so AC was not needed but for awareness, it has fan and cooler but no AC. Bathroom was very basic but clean. Wardrobes were not in good shape. Tent is also not well maintained. The day was packed with activities which was specified as part of package. We went to jeep safari and boat safari. In the jeep safari mostly you will be seeing spotted deers, langoors and few elephants. We were lucky to spot a leopard sleeping on a tree branch. Both the safaries are ~3 hour duration. Go to the boat safari only if you are interested in birds, otherwise you will get bored. As it is shared safari, you can't return back also. Food is good. Its more homely than restaurant food but the taste is good and there is decent spread. The place has lots of open space. There are only open spaces for games and the outdoor games are not kept well. Another positive point of the place is that all the safaries are included by default in your package. If you stay in any other hotel/resort, you will have to come to jungle lodge only for safari. On the downside, when we were leaving the place the person casually asks do you need help in transferring your luggage to the car. You don't feel that you are in a resort paying so much money. In conclusion, I felt that the place has potential to be a great place but the maintenance remains like today, it is not justified to spend so much money on this place.”

“Right at the backwaters, this is a perfect getaway when the weather is pleasant. Rooms with views are great but not all the rooms have bathtub as mentioned in the amenities. Only family room has the bathtub even though all the bathrooms are huge. Decent dining, utensils and glasses could be little premium but the food is good. They screen wildlife documentary in the evening and many books are available to read for leisure. They provide water activities and help with booking safari with the Jungle resort run by the Karnataka Govt. ”
