“An exceptional location near the Jawai safari featuring stunning lake views and the magnificent Rotela lake right on the property. The highlight of the stay was the seamless wildlife experience, enhanced by an upgrade and an expert leopard safari guide arranged directly by the property. However, the overall execution falls significantly short of its 5-star listing. While the food tasted good and the breakfast spread was decent, the operational setup leaves much to be desired. The restaurant doubles as the front office and bar, evening tea lacked clean covers, and the lake-view restaurant was non-functional. Most concerningly, basic 5-star amenities like in-room dining are missing, and cleanliness requires urgent attention—from the unkept toilets and dirty pool areas (including a kids' pool in shambles) to unclean entryways. This property holds immense potential, but to truly justify its rating, management must prioritize rigorous housekeeping, comprehensive upkeep, and elevated service standards. ”
