“The property has good cleanliness throughout, making for a pleasant environment. The amenities are alright too, with ample parking and reliable Wi-Fi. The location could be more central but then there is a good bus service a short walk away. Staff members were friendly and helpful.”

“The location is only about a 10 minute walk from the city centre and the hotel itself is well maintained with very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is good and not too expensive at all. My only complaint is that my room didn’t come with a mini fridge and the shower door setup could be improved.”

“The hotel was good and seemed clean. My friend woke up with what looked like bed bug bites based on her past experience and internet pictures/info. She had red swollen pimple like markings on face, neck, stomach, arms legs. She complained and was told she had to have evidence through a med cert. They didn't even ask if she was alright or helped her see a doctor. The staff pushed breakfast voucher and dinner voucher. The manager didn't even face her. My friend is getting blood tests and pursuing this case. ”

“Spacious executive room with a lovely view of the Shannon. Very well equipped, great shower, lots of towels, comfortable bed with excellent bedding and pillows. We had breakfast one morning and we were surprised at the fantastic options on the menu. Would definitely stay again & happily recommend. ”

“Great hotel . Great location.Food excellent. Rooms clean and tidy. Have stayed here over 10 times in the past and no doubt will again. Hotel policy has changed and I was not allowed check in without photo id by receptionist Maria. I had prepaid so no issue there. In 30 years visiting hotels in Ireland I have never been asked to show photo I'd. A truly humiliating experience walking back to off site car park to get drivers license and walk back before I was allowed check in. She said I should have read the terms and conditions on the email I received. Perhaps this is the new way forward but a lack of empathy, basic manners and poor customer service is not the way forward.”

“Great location for the city centre, restaurants, bars. Very clean rooms, great hot and powerful shower. Strange Wifi set up but works fine for streaming. Weekend stay prices are crazy! Recommend staying if you can afford it.”
