“3 bad points, there is no elevator! the show door is very narrow therefore if you are over 80Kg you wouldn't get into the shower (the room we had) the breakfast is very, very poor, better to go to one on the places 2 minuets walk for something decent.”

Nothing is too much trouble for Zefii, Takis and Georgios and the rest of the team. They will greet you with much warmth and hospitality and you will be sure also to have some great chats with other members of their families who are often on site. Located in Kanali, Saga Hotel is close to everything - the town, the big Askeli beach and smaller ones like Neomia. as well as the start of many hiking trails. Although it's close to all the action, the hotel itself is in a quiet spot in a residential area with good parking and space to park up bikes. There's a great pool that's large enough to do laps in and you can relax on a comfy sunbed with a grove of citrus trees behind you. Many of the rooms have fine views out over the sea. Our superior one was huge with a lovely balcony. Saga Hotel is ideal for families and couples of all ages. Single travellers would feel very safe there as it is a friendly place.. In addition to its rooms, the hotel has some little apartments where you can self cater if you want to. There is a lift to all floors. On the top of the building is the very stylish sky bar where you can enjoy a drink and incredible views. or watch the stars and moon at night. It's a wonderful place to see the sun set. Great food is also available there and if you ask nicely, Zefi will cook you your favourite dish. As locals, Takis and Zefi can answer any questions you have about the island and near by areas as they know it so well. The Saga Hotel has been thoughtfully designed and is all about making people feel relaxed and happy. It is spacious and well appointed and as popular with Greek people as with visitors from over seas. It's down to Earth and practical and does not pretend to be anything else. The Saga Hotel is a special place and we can't wait to return. You will be sure to return home feeling totally relaxed.”

“This was an easy choice . Nice location, Bakery literally around the corner, 1 minute walk to the beach Nice little taverns and bistro's in the area . Extremely clean, very comfortable beds and value for money . Had a lot of trouble with the parking though . ( This would be my only negative ) Also I loved that I could bring my pet without a problem . Thank you ”
