“Nice hotel with friendly staff. As others mentioned, entertainment is mainly tailored for French-speaking guests. Always plenty of sunbeds around pools and on the private beach. Food could have more choices to our liking.”

“The hotel has direct access to the sea, which is nice. The view during breakfast was stunning. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast. The hotel was reinpainted, which made a fresh and modern look. First I booked a room on "Hillside", as I came for a conference and didn't care about the view. It had a partial view on the sea, but also there was 3 huge water cleaning reactors under the window, humming all the time. I could hear it also with windows closed. It was white noise, so I fall asleep (after being very tired of the conference). Unfortunately, the road and a disco-bar is also right next to the hotel. The music started at 23.00 and woke me up and went on until 01.30... even with closed windows, I couldn't sleep. Also, the space in the bathroom was very small, I could hardly place my items for shaving, in the hillside room. Then they allocated me a room on the other side. With closed windows, it was ok, but if I opened the window, trucks, buses, people talking on the street woke me up. This also had still a small, but useable bathroom. Staff was very friendly. As for Mati, it is quite far away from the airport and Athens, you need to use the taxi all the time. I used public transport, to try it, but the bus was not the one what google suggested (apparently it has alternative routes), and it dropped me from 20 walk from the hotel. Also, there is nothing to do in Mati, so you would need to take the taxi morning and evening to come and go, which adds to the cost of the stay 30-60 Euro every day. The hotel would need to upgrade the windows and sound isolation, independently from the price, I wouldn't expect outside noises to wake me up an a remote countryside hotel next to the sea. If you wake up to noises, avoid the Hillside rooms. Otherwise, nice looking, modern look, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.”
