“This is a traditional room, which we were expecting. Comfortable bed and descent bedding. Tiny bathroom but everything working. Unfortunately it's over cluttered which means it's just not possible to keep completely clean. Not totally impressed by the cleaning in the bathroom when we arrived.
Check in is not ideal- you have to call reception but there is no signal in the street. A sign to show where reception is would be better. I wouldn't want to check in at night.
Location is perfect- in the town but in a quiet area so we slept well. Soundproofing between rooms is bad- perhaps a sign for other guests not to shout on stairs would have been helpful.
The rooms are up very steep stairs- the rooms are completely inaccessible. Do not stay here unless you are completely mobile.
Breakfast is a bit weird as you can't really choose what you get, but what we did get was wonderful, healthy and set us up well for the day.
Overall, more traditional than anywhere I've ever stayed. I probably wouldn't go back, but there's nothing particularly wrong with it. ”
