“The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment under new management. Staff are very helpful; the bedrooms are clean, if a little scuffed; the beds are comfortable and the linen crisp. While the refurbishment continues, however, there is no restaurant and no bar. Pubs and restaurants are plenty in Lark Lane, about 6 mins walk to the south.”

“This complaint relates to late and incorrect directions to the nearest car park. 1. Before arrival I emailed reception asking for details of the car park that was nearest to the hotel - I did not receive a reply. 2. On the day before I arrived I phoned the hotel to ask the same question and was told I would get an email reply - I did not receive an email reply. 3. I phoned again before I arrived and was told the postcode of Victoria Street car park - I put the postcode into my car's satnav - it listed addresses in Dublin. 4. I 'phoned once more to confirm the postcode - again I entered it into the satnav with the same result. So, may I suggest that management specify the correct car park postcodes and ensure they are displayed on the website? This would reduce queries to reception. In addition reception must be instructed to reply to all emails - especially when they promise to do so.”
