“The Grand is in the perfect location to walk Lerwick. I walked from the ferry depot to the hotel. It was a good walk, but easy to find. It is on Commercial St, so it was easy to do a little shopping, enjoy some coffee or great Shetland food. The hotel isn't modern, but that is the charm. I really felt like I was in a more remote area of the world. There was excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers. Mickey in the breakfast room was so kind and took great care of all the guests. The beds were very clean as so comfortable that I was able to sleep in and get over my jet lag and lack of sleep from a rough ferry crossing. I would stay at The Grand again and recommend it to anyone visiting Lerwick. ”
