“Beautiful hotel and very pleasant staff, amazing relaxed break, enjoyed using the pool and facilities ”

“Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and shampoos, clean and very spacious room on two levels, free parking, nice retaurant, helpful staff. Interior is a bit dated and super sensitive sleepers may wish slightly better soundproofing but it’s probably unfair to bring latter two up considering the price. I will most certainly return if I’m in the area again. Thank you to the breakfast staff who made takeaway coffee for me. ”

“It's a handy place for travel by train as not far to station. However the rooms have no baths only showers. I spent ages running the shower to get lukewarm water. The food was average to below average. Macaroni was stodgy floury and the garlic bread inedible dry and hard. Staff were nice room clean and comfortable. I've stayed before not sure if there is a different chef but I don't think I'd go back as it was over 100 pounds per night which felt expensive and that didn't include any breakfast. So sadly a thumbs down from me.”

“Having dropped my wife off in Glasgow for a conference, I travelled to Glazert Hotel with my dog. He was welcomed as much as I was but the only slight downside to my visit was that I had to eat away from the main restaurants - both for breakfast and for dinner. I understand that many people do not want to share their eating with a dog but it would be good if there were a slightly better arrangement! I felt like Billy No-Mates sitting on my own in a "corridor" with the dog and, the previous evening, I had shared a bar with a fair few very noisy groups! Apart from that, the hotel was excellent. The food was good, the room was good, the gardens were very good and the location was brilliant. It amazes me that such a location is only about 10 miles or so from the centre of Glasgow! The cost of the hotel and the food/drink seemed very reasonable. I'm sure I shall return.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent. The room was clean and restaurant was amazing. ”

“We had an unpleasant stay due to a wedding reception held right under our room. We were not the only guests outside of the wedding party. I recommend checking with the reception before booking. And I would recommend to the hotel to make it a policy that the wedding party must rent out all the rooms to avoid such inconvenience.”
