Broadcroft Hotel

We had an unpleasant stay due to a wedding reception held right under our room. We were not the only guests outside of the wedding party. I recommend checking with the reception before booking. And I would recommend to the hotel to make it a policy that the wedding party must rent out all the rooms to avoid such inconvenience.

The facilities were great, lovely decoration and the food/restaurant are exceptional. They did warn us about an event that was loud, which did affect sleep, but we were warned and offered a free rebooking beforehand. I just didn't understand why send me an email to fill in my details, but when I got there they had a sheet with Agoda's details instead of mine anyway. I highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful property, you can find Ubers there so be careful, the food is exceptional and the staff is wonderful. Overall a very good stay in 65 pounds I paid for one night. The kilkintoch area is beautiful.

The hotel was clean, though rooms are small and basic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. But none of this could possibly make up for the noise from the function room. On the Saturday night, the bass was so high that things were literally rattling in my room. Such a shame.
