“The Greyhound Inn is just what we hoped it would be. The rooms are clean and cosy, with the added extra of their doggy naming history. The deep bath was especially welcome. The Inn itself was beautiful, the staff attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. I was pleased to find they had gluten free bread! The village is delightfully quiet, like a little secret hidden in the valley. Altogether a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to visit again.”

“Summer Lodge Country House Hotel is a good place for couple or family relax. It is a bit far away from city centre, but the environment makes it worth visiting. Welcome drink was prepared for us upon arrival. The restaurant offers fine dining which is also worth a try. Upon check-out, the staff gave us four bottles of water as she knew we would have a long journey. It is very thoughtful of her to do so. Thank you!”

“Stayed last night, 5th November. I believe fully booked by travellers from all walks of life, good bar great selection of wines even by the glass! Food was excellent, especially the "specials" and service first rate. Last time we stayed there - it's only 60 miles from home - was 38 years ago, but will be booking again soon with our son and his partner for a short break in spring. Funnily couldn't write reviews on line 38 years ago, so glad we can now. Cheers SteveB ”
