“Sister property of Chateau de Berne that’s smaller and more intimate. Chateau Saint Roux is a wonderfully restored chateau built in the 15th century. There’s a vineyard, a farm, a restaurant and a small shop in the front that doubles up as the reception. The best tip would be to speak to the staff to see if they have any activities available for the day. We managed to snag a wine and cheese tasting session which was intimate and engaging. Would recommend driving as it is not within walking distance to anything outside of this chateau. Rooms were spacious and we woke up every morning to birds chirping at the window. ”
