“The hotel is a pretty standard IBIS Style place – there is everything you need here for a basic stay. The room is comfortable with climate control, thick curtains, a standard bedroom and a nice bed. The breakfast was a buffet affair with a good selection of bread and croissants etc, yoghurt and cold meat and cheese. There is a free coffee machine available all day and also a small bar. There is plenty of parking available, but some carparks are cheaper than others so make sure you know the price before you park. The hotel is a minutes’ walk from the harbor which is beautiful to look at and surrounded by numerous restaurants. For a standard bar you should try Maddie’s, just around the corner (Happy Hour 19-21 every day!) The staff at this IBIS were fantastic, the person who checked us in worked quickly and efficiently. He was helpful, friendly, and enjoyable to chat with (in English, French, Spanish and Philippine.) Honfleur is a beautiful town which is worth visiting for any reason but we used it as a base for a visit to the Normandy beaches and I would happily stay at this hotel again if we repeat the trip in the future. ”
