“Had a decent stay at Grandeastern .Have known this hotel over the last 10-12 years whilst in Fiji .The hotel is at central location and has got access to things nearby .The food in the restaurant was delicious ,would always return back for the delicious food.The hotel however has some downfalls ,it was clean on arrival but had very strong detergent smell .Some of the facilities could benefit from improved maintenance. With a few upgrades, it would be even better.The tv and remote was not working properly on the days stayed .The water pressure was very very poor and as a result we were not able to use hot water .The bedsheets /pillow cases had visible stains .and looks very old .The wifi wasn’t even working properly..The blankets provided were torn and old .The noise level from next room could be heard in your room making it difficult to sleep at night .The securities seen to be drinking kava early hours of the morning .The hotel has remained the same over the last 8-10 years nothing has changed .Would recommend only for location ,restaurant.”
