“As good as a boutique hotel gets. The basic rooms are quite small but sufficient, bigger rooms with views or the fjord are great. The small team that run the place are not only nice but very competent. No tea and coffee facilities in the rooms but I hear that’s common in Germany. ”

“If you don't like the cookie-cutter style of new hotels this is the place for you. Sadly, we were unable to stay in the main building, which we would have preferred, and instead were lodged in one of the two separate guest houses. (Both apparently former homes.) The hotel had bus tours both of the nights we stayed. Facilities in the main building date from a bygone era which was endearing to us, but may not be to everyone's taste. Location is great. ”
