“The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, however the quality of the pancakes and waffles is quite low. In addition, the vegetarian omelettes are prepared on the same pan and with the same spatula as bacon and other meats. A wider selection of vegetables would also be appreciated, such as bell peppers, green onions, red onions, carrots, and similar options. The indoor pool was still quite cold, and there is no shared hot tub or similar facility, which made the experience less relaxing than expected for a winter stay. We asked about a late checkout and were told the hotel was fully booked for the upcoming night, even though rooms were still available online and the hotel policy states that late checkout is possible at 50% of the next night’s rate. This left us feeling slightly unwelcome. Other than these points, the staff was excellent and very welcoming, so mixed experience.”
