“My room was adjacent to the kitchen of a restaurant beside. Extremely noisy. Plus the hotel is right in the middle of the night clubs area with heavy bass music playing until 2h30 am. Don't go there if you want quietness. Rooms were ok but not impressive. Staff was kind overall. Beds were comfortable, good matresses. Small humidity odor in the room. Pool is tiny and not inviting, didn't see anyone using it.”

“We enjoyed our 4 days at the resort. The staff was pleasant and the resort was well cared for with lovely tropical landscaping. The food was good and plentiful, I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit, mango, papaya and pineapple. We were able to enjoy the specialty dining for 3 nights thanks to our loyalty status at Agoda. In the Japanese restaurant I would suggest the shrimp or chicken as the beef was on the tough side. The house wine was ok, but the mixed drinks were sub par. Restaurants and groceries are very expensive in Costa Rica so we found the all inclusive option very cost effective by booking well in advance. Prices had doubled by the time we arrived. The beach is rocky in parts but there are some sandy areas where young children play. Lots of waves for the surfers to enjoy. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool, but if you want shade you will need to claim a spot early. If you want to go to town it was only $6 cad each way with Uber . There is a market on Saturday mornings that features lots of arts, crafts, clothing and jewelry. You can book excursions through the hotel which you should consider if you want to truly enjoy what Costa Rica has to offer. We didn’t do any as this was just a 4 day stay and we are visiting other parts of the country. ”

“Agoda was the crappiest 3rd party to work with. I called the customer service number and a guy took my credit card information and then asked if I can zelle them money instead?? He then said he couldn’t help me and hung up. Would never use agoda again. The property was a beautiful beachfront spot, had to pay twice as much to add my daughter to the reservation. They wouldn’t let us use the king suite due to a 2 person max”
