“A fantastic place to stay, a little bit out of the way from the main La Fortuna Area, which does impact tours and time spent travelling. However, that inconvenience is superseded by the beautiful location, accommodation, staff and amazing food that is produced on site. Would 100% recommend!”

“This place is lovely. Several cabins (one treehouse) set in the jungle forest near a small river. Birds are abundant as well as walking trails in the forest. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nice open air common area for eating. Cabins are quaint, clean, modern, with lovely balconies overlooking the jungle forest. The bathroom has an outdoor shower feel. Air conditioner and WiFi good. Delicious typicos breakfast included. We did a guided night walk in the nearby jungle forest which was nice. Overall a really good value. If there’s anything critical worth mentioning it’s that you need a car to get to this place, it’s about a 7-10 min drive just outside of town but well worth it. Highly recommend. ”

“We had a great time, the location is so special and staff was excellent. the food is really tasty. I the night is a little hard to walk around and the water in the shower drain really slow.”

“My friend and I loved our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable with super soft sheets. AC, wifi, and hot water all working well. Sleeping to the sound of the jungle was delightful. Our host was very responsive, checking in to see if we needed anything and offering us great suggestions for restaurants. The best part were the animals!! Aside from seeing many birds, insects, and lizards, the have dogs, friendly cats, and ducks!!! 100% would recommend and stay again. ”

“The location is up on a mountain and quite difficult to find, with a very steep road leading to the property. There is no front desk, and check-in is at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the toilet only flushed properly every other time and the shower as well was a problem . We were also asked to park downstairs, but there is no proper road or walkway connecting the parking area to the house. Since it was raining, we had to walk through mud to get to the property.”

“It is bit far and remotely located budget option from La fortuna main town.Road to access this place is not fully paved through out and gravel road is there to reach.It gets extreme dark in the evening time to better to reach at the place in the daylight time.Location is beautiful in dense jungle and not many commercial options available near by, you will have to drive 10 mins downhill to get anything you need.Plan your stay here after you have shopped daily necessities at the market in main town areas because there is no store at the uphill.”
