“Booked 3 rooms but 2 of it have no air conditioning during our stay. We asked for room change n we were upgraded. The spa pools were not even half opened. Breakfast was average. However, the staff was helpful . ”

“What a fantastic little room this is, although compact it serves its purpose really well with a comfortable bed, good washroom and a balcony overlooking the river, providing a view of the nearby bridge as well as a bend in the river which sets it apart from a lot of the other places in the area, of which the view is absolutely magical to rest up at between exploring. The family owners are super friendly and eager to help and will add you on wechat if you have any questions. If you're arriving by train, ask one of the very friendly local Miao peoples that run their own version of Didi to call the hotel for you to get the exact location and the owner will meet you. It just can be a bit hard to find as the area is quite dense with a lot of other hotels in the area that line the river. Walking through Fenghuang Gucheng is an amazing experience, not only for the views and the township itself but seeing everyone dressed up looking amazing in traditional Miao clothing and make is an experience in itself. Great experience would absolutely stay here again”

“Next to the waterfront. Loved the room and staff were helpful. Double check check out time as our booking said a time and the staff said something else (staff said it’s an hour earlier than Agoda booking.) Note that it was quite noisy until late at night. Another note is that because it is on the waterfront, you have to get your luggage down to the waterfront and back up to the bridge so if you’ve got a lot of luggage, I’d recommend maybe picking somewhere more accessible.”
