“We came for one night to escape the heat and air pollution of Basel. We loved that we could swim and soak in the hot tub! The only reason I haven't given it all five stars: 1) smokers. the smell of smoke is there in the entrance to the hotel and on the terrace. Please JSSR, put smokers in their own section of the terrace and ask not to smoke near the entrance. smoking is so terrible for one's health, it would be good to keep it away from the majority, who are nonsmokers. 2) the reception area closes early on the weekends and the restaurant cannot help if a problem arises. otherwise we had a great stay. note that it is a little outside of town, which didn't matter for us but might for you. ”
