“I gave three stars for the staff because there were no welcoming staff, which I find a pity. That said, the staff who were there were very nice. The hotel is located right next to a vineyard, which I didn't know, but was helpful for an afternoon tasting. I will go back. The view is also very nice. ”

“The breakfast alone was worth choosing this lovely little B&B, and Simon was a marvelous host! The only thing I would suggest under Facilities is to fix the doorknobs in the room we stayed in (Le Premier); the only way to fully close the bedroom door is by deadbolt from inside or key from outside (no biggie until you want to sneak to the living room to make your morning coffee and not expose your sleeping partner). Also the door to the toilet is hard to keep closed once inside--but we figured out the trick (have your partner close it from outside the toilet room 😉). Would stay again while in Magog!”

“The hotel was comfortable but lacking in some modern conveniences. In particular usb charging would be an inexpensive but very useful upgrade, Staff was great and accommodating. The attached Chinese restaurant was not up to our standards. The food was extremely dry with no sauce on beef and broccoli. My chicken seemed to be boiled and thrown on stir fried veggies. After the disastrous dinner we passed on spending more money for breakfast. Hotel was one block from town. Plenty of restaurant options in town.”

“There was nobody there to check us in. Guests must go to property down and across the street to check in and get anything you need. The optional breakfast is also served there, not on property-for additional fee. Toiletries are attached to shower wall and appear to be ancient. Conditioner was so thick that it was impossible to remove it. I gave up and went to local PharmaPrix to get travel sized shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Towels were very small too! The location is good -close to Rue Principale. The only other positive is the coffee maker in the lobby area. If you like to be left alone, then you might like this property. ”
