“Fabulous hotel conveniently located near the tourist heritage area and Tim Hortons. Room was comfortable with fridge, microwave and Keurig. The bed and bedding were excellent. The only complaint was that my room was beside the laundry room, with noise and people coming and going.”

“Griffon Aventure is a very unusual place as a hostel lodging. There are single rooms to various size unique cabins, and tent spaces, spread throughout several acres on the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. There is a solid steel staircase with many steps to the edge of the ocean. Griffon is located very close to Forillon National Park that has several stunning hiking trails. If staying there, be prepared to provide most of your own meals, ( the on site bar has some food) set up your own bed, provide your own towels, use private stalls in a communal building for showers and toilets, for your private reserved camping spaces or cabin, to have no running water that is guaranteed potable and has a slight sulfur smell, though a large water jug is provided for each unit, sort & empty your own trash, sweep your unit's floor & wash your own dishes. Great communal space for meeting other guests on the property & around a campfire. All of these features are fine if you enjoy a eco conscious " camp" experience with loved ones and others also staying there. ”
