“I guess it all depends what your after but I knew i would be spending some time in the room (I was in Sofia for dental work) so wanted something decent. The Radisson Sofia fitted the bill nicely. I had a standard room on the 7th floor was modern, spacious and clean. The bed was huge and comfy however the pillows were cheap and substandard. For the money I paid I would have expected a choice ... or at least a higher quality (feathered) pillow by default. I absolutely loved the overhead shower they had installed in the bath. On the flip side the toilet paper was the lowest grade imaginable .. one star not four star. Surely providing decent toilet paper wouldn't hit the profit margins that much! Overall (apart from the pillows and toilet paper) I was very happy with the room. Breakfast was okay with a decent hot and cold selection. I ate in the Met Bar twice and the food was perfectly acceptable and reasonably priced. Would stay again.”

“This is a typical airport hotel. More expensive than some city hotels but that's because it's at the airport. The restaurant is the same. Having said that, the rooms are large, well appointed and modern. Also, they have a free shuttle from and to the airport so that saves some cost in getting there for an early or late flight. One disappointing aspect for my visit (one night) was that I found the staff at reception and in the restaurant to be rather disinterested and a little surly. The shuttle driver however was pretty chatty and nice. Overall, if you need to stay close to the airport it's a good enough option.”

“Novotel Sofia is comfortable with all the facilities you'd expect from this chain. Breakfast is good and the rooms spacious and well equipped. The hotel location is a little bit out of the historical centre. However, there are plenty of public buses servicing historical centre of Sofia from the hotel. Highly recommended.”

“Pros: Convenient free parking, a huge bed, tea, coffee, water, and slippers—everything in the room, and it was very warm. Breakfast was delicious, and the girl at reception was nice. When we complained about our neighbors, she went to them personally. Cons: Old hotel, cardboard walls, our neighbors listened to music half the night, and then screamed all night (apparently with pleasure). We had to pound on the paper wall to get any sleep! The soundproofing was terrible! The toilet was very old. The elevator button for the third floor was worn out; apparently, everyone only goes to the third floor. We were left with very bad memories.”

“The hotel is clean and with good facilities. The only problem was that they didn't write anywhere that the SPA should be paid extra and that our room wasn't cleaned even once for 3 days.”

“Was worried after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised, the room was clean , bed was a bit hollow, bathroom clean and everything worked , no smells , air con worked , breakfast was ok ,, enough choice , bread was hard , all staff were nice , parking a bit tight and the kerb high ”

“The location is good and the free shuttle service is good. However, the room was out of toilet paper and shampoo. The dryer was also broken. It doesn't seem like they are checking the condition of the items in the room. There is a water purifier in the hallway, but there are no water cups in the room. There is an electric pot. ”
