“Hotel is pretty nice and a good price for the location. The only thing I didn't like was the fact the pool is not opened for the hotel guests in the evening, but only for private. I find it a bit weird.”

“Hotel was right at the city center in a quiet street, just a few steps away from the bus stops. Not very far from the Mecheleb Nekkerspoel station by walking and Mechelen/Malines station by bus. Had a good stay. Breakfast was nice. ”

“The hotel is a little out of the town centre and is surrounded by building works at present, which should be great when finished. It's a lovely old building with high ceilings and spacious rooms, built around a central lake and courtyard. I had room 002 on the ground floor, which had 2 steps down upon entering but was otherwise pretty accessible with a large wetroom and separate toilet. The bed was a little soft but otherwise the room was very pleasant, with air-conditioning, coffee maker, fridge with bottled water, TV and decent WiFi. The breakfast was a very good hot and cold buffet, and the dinners were of a good standard. There was an outdoor terrace bar open or you could order drinks from the restaurant bar. The indoor bar opens outside summer days. All staff on reception and bar/restaurant were very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!”

“In all my travels over the world I have never experienced treatment like I received . I got to the hotel at 1300 on a Saturday . I wanted to catch the end of the market to let my grandson experience Mechelen fully . I gave my name to the reception and was told I could enter the room immediately for 35 euros or wait until 1500 hrs . Since I only wanted to drop my bags off I refused and left my bags in the lobby storage room .I didn't return to the Hotel until 2000 . What I mean by greed is the hotel monetising the time normally used to prepare the room . I have paid to enter a room in the morning before but only before 1200 hrs . I have never had such an experience of money grabbing in all my travels over the. Normally if a room is ready you will be admitted but apparently not in Belgium .Its not the only horror story I have heard about Belgians and money . Further to this I had a sleepless night because there was a door between my Room and an other that was unlocked and could not be locked to close securely .When the fellow from reception came he said the room was not occupied but when I looked in through the door it looked like it was . Eventually the receptionist said it could not be secured from my room and that his manager said I had to do what I want . I didn't return hear noise from the room at various times during the night and could clearly see the entrance door on the corridor was damaged . A cheap hotel ran by Greedy cheap people . ”

“일찍 도착했는데 운이 좋게 방이 있어서 체크인을 바로 해주셨습니다. 문제는 자정부터 브루어리에서 맥주를 만드느라 기계를 가동했는지 기계소음이 방 전체에 울려서 잠을 자는데 방해가 되었습니다. 숙소에 브루어리가 있다는게 너무 좋고 직원 분들도 친절해서 좋았고 룸도 넓고 바닥에 난방이 되는 신기한 곳이었지만 그 소음이 조금 힘들었습니다. 공장에서 제일 먼 방은 소음이 적을것같아요. 개인적으로는 조식도 괜찮았습니다. 리셉션에 택시 불러달라고 하면 벤을 불러주십니다. 덕분에 편하게 브뤼셀 공항에 갔는데 82유로 정도 나왔습니다. 우버 사용하면 50유로 정도면 갈수있는것같아요.”
