“We were terribly disappointed in this hotel for so many reasons! Rooms were basic, in that they needed some tlc, basic bathroom, empty soap dispensers, toilet very basic. One window broken and didn’t open, there was a fan in the room but the heat was unbearable! We booked via a third party and paid for a lake view, they couldn’t accommodate this, although to be honest I can’t see how many rooms can have a view due to the trees in the way. We asked on the first night for the room we had booked but they couldn’t accommodate, this is despite sending numerous emails before our arrival, 2nd day we asked for help or different room as it was so hot, they just said all the rooms are hot as there is not aircon! Didn’t feel listened to, The fan just blew the hot air around! Breakfast was good for the price as was included in our room price. The downstairs and restaurant was nicely decorated, outside is an eclectic mix of animals and a bit run down fake decor. Would definitely not return, was booked for our anniversary, truly disappointed Photos may look like a great location but honestly avoid the rooms are just unbearable”
