“Right next to the station, it’s is very convenient and the neighbourhood seem safe. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Check-in staff was welcoming and efficient. Breakfast staff might need more training. There was a guy who kept staring us down at breakfast, making us uncomfortable and when we looked at him, immediately adverts his eyes. Almost feels like a bouncer than hotel staff.”

“I have stayed in budget hostels under €10 across Europe and Asia, but I have never experienced a place that fails so completely at the absolute basics. Just thinking back to my stay causes severe mental stress. If anyone is considering booking this place, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere or cancel immediately. 1. Severe Pest Infestation and Insect Bites (100% Fact) There were at least 100 insects and pests crawling around the room. I spent two straight nights fighting them off, resulting in painful, itchy bites all over my arms, legs, face, and body. No matter how many I killed, they kept coming endlessly, to the point where I felt pure dread. 2. Zero Ventilation/Climate Control and Unbearable Noise There is no air conditioning, heating, or ventilation whatsoever. The room was suffocatingly hot, forcing me to wake up every single hour drenched in sweat while still having to fight off pests. In total, I got less than 3 hours of sleep over two days. On top of that, there is zero soundproofing against outside noise. What makes it worse is that their house rules and restrictions on guests are ridiculously strict, while they fail to provide even the bare minimum living conditions. 3. Completely Unacceptable Late Check-in Refusal I paid for a 3-night stay in full, but due to a flight delay, I arrived an hour past the 21:00 check-in time. The official policy clearly stated, "Late check-in available for an additional €30 fee." However, the staff provided no assistance, told me to figure it out myself, and flatly refused to check me in. I was left stranded on the street at 11:00 PM, dragging my heavy luggage around trying to find a emergency room for the night. To make matters worse, the check-in location itself was in a bizarre, inconvenient spot far from the actual room, making the whole ordeal even more painful. In conclusion, this was a nightmare experience I wish I could erase from my memory. I suffered immense physical and psychological distress during my stay, and the trauma from this experience ruined the joy of my trip. There are plenty of far better places to stay in Antwerp, so please do your research and avoid this place at all costs. Do not trust the positive reviews here—they are completely unreliable and misleading.”
