“It was a good hostel for that money.”

“The Coral Gem is situated in a residential part of Yeppoon away from the noise of the main roads. It is beautifully presented and perfect for a short stay. The welcoming and friendly reception manager made checking in fast and ensured we were comfortable for our overnight stay. The bedroom is relatively small with very little space to pack any clothing or other luggage. The room was well decorated and blended in with the well maintained and colourful exterior of the complex. The bed was most comfortable but bedding could be inadequate if the overnight temperature drops…easy access to an additional blanket or doona would help. The continental breakfast supplied was welcoming. The outside tables and chairs next to the solar-heated swimming pool is an ideal place to enjoy a self-catered dinner and drinks with friends. Perfect overnight stay for couples or single travellers. Parking onsite was not available for our group and we had to park on the street outside the complex.”

“Great location within walking distance to the beach, eateries and shops. Basic motel. Could use a toaster. Be careful if you are over 6 feet tall walking into the bathroom. There is a towel rail my husband kept hitting. ”

“We had a great time at Oshen Holiday Apartments. Centrally located, close to the beach and shops. The apartments have everything you need. Highly recommend the apartments.”
