“What the room lacked in size it made up for in character. The renovations have been very thoughtfully done to make a cosy space. We don't travel light so had to juggle our bags around in the limited floor space but appreciated the long row of hooks in the wall to keep clothes etc out of the way. The bathroom was also small but very attractive. The room is definitely not suitable for those with mobility issues due to small size and stairs to access the accommodation in the second floor (no lift). We enjoyed our meals in the lounge in the evening and the Pantry the next morning. ”
