“Reasonably priced for a very basic, clean room. No frills. Good for an overnight stay. Motel is rather old and in original condition. WiFi is not good. Good thing is that the motel was very clean. ”

“Myself and partner stayed 4 nights in a king Seaview room ( room 33 ) the view from the room was lovely looking out over the pool to the harbour. The room was comfortable a little out dated but clean on arrival My partner found the bed slightly uncomfortable but I was fine , they probably do need to be updated , unfortunately it doesn’t have a balcony as such but big sliding doors so you could place chairs at the doors to sit and enjoy the ocean views The only real problem we had was that our room was only serviced once on our last nights stay which really it wasn’t service even then and only after many trip to the reception to inform them that once again it hadn’t been cleaned I had to each day go down to reception and ask for clean towels and the basic supplies The ladies in reception were lovely and very apologetic that the room hadn’t been cleaned Lovey Larny from reception offered us complementary desserts due to the lack of cleaning of the room The hotel is in walking distance to the main shopping area and across the road from the harbour We enjoyed our stay and all the staff in reception were lovey and definitely a credit to the hotel But I think the hotels cleaning staff certainly need to up their standards of basic service of rooms as this was a REAL let down specially with the prices of the rooms over the Christmas break But in saying this …. yes I would recommend staying at this hotel As it’s in a Great location ”

“Beautiful old home, very relaxing. Good bed, hot water for shower. Many extras. Wonderful chatty host and assistant. Thoroughly enjoyed our days .”

“Pro’s: - Location next to the sea (Walking Distance) - ALDI and other shops just next block. Also Walking Distance. - Rooms are wide with dining table and cutleries. - Each room we had has bathroom and toilet each. - Accomodation size for 2 Bedroom was decent. Cons: - Pillow’s are not comfortable. - King Bed is 2 King Single Combined - Rooms have no separate heating and cooling system (No central heating or cooling either) just in the lounge. - Cleanliness is low. Staff wearing their own shoes while cleaning. - Under the couch, found a dead caterpillar. There were ants everywhere. Lucky there’s none in the bed rooms. It’s ok otherwise. ”

“Nicely appointed room with a sea view view. Everything one needs for a few days, mini kitchen, en suite and a balcony overlooking the sea. A 3 minute drive - or a 30 minutes walk into Portland town centre. We felt a 10 am check out was very early but that is quite common in Australia unfortunately. Parking right outside the premises.”
