“I stayed her for five days on business. The rooms are small, basic, with essentials only, but clean and well-prepared. Accommodation is a metal box with an outside sitting area, airconditioning, and en suite bathroom. There is a microwave and electric kettle, small refrigerator, plates and cutlery for 2 guests, and tea/coffee sachets are provided. Towels are small and thin, and there was no soap in the shower dispenser. Parking is down the back of the site, some distance away from the cabin building. For guests with mobility issues this could be a challenge as there is loose gravel to be crossed and stairs up to the cabin. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, but beware the price of goods in their very small "shop" area, e.g. $8 for a packet of crisps. One hassle is that there is a locked steel fence and gate with a keypad entry for both entry and exit -- a number is assigned at check in (and should be carried in your vehicle at all times) but this did not work on the first night and I had to call the emergency number to get correct details to let me in (no fun in the dark with no lighting on the keypad which cannot be reached without getting out of the car). There is nothing in terms of shops or food outlets around the Park, which is located about 6 minutes drive from the centre of town. Overall, a reasonable place to stay for short visits at a decent price, compared to motels and hotels in the area.”

“Initial TV issue resolved by manager offering free upgrade. Unexpected result, very happy with quick service. ”

“Very poor experience and would never stay there again ”

“Does the job”

“Had a lovely stay. Our room was very clean and quiet. Had a very comfortable bed for the night. Would definately stay there again. ”

“Stayed one night after driving from Melbourne. Good communication. Old style accommodation. Bed comfortable. Hot water runs well. Didn't want to get out of the show. I would recommend this place. Easy access for late arrivals.”

“The hayday of this place has long since passed. Balconies are boarded off, the quaint fireplaces no longer in use and the bathrooms are limited, however there is an old world charm with relics like this in SA. The secure overnight fenced parking was appreciated. There was once food served here but now strictly only a bed for the night. The air-con heat was adequate for early winter but l am guessing I the dead of winter would not suffice in the high ceilinged rooms. Bed was comfortable enough for the nights sleep.”
