“The lodge is situated in a quiet place, but there are no facilities around. forget about eating in a restaurant or have a breakfast there. The restaurant is closed and there are basically no options in the neighbourhood. The lodge looks better from outside, it is very dated inside. Single glass windows make the rooms very very cold. We were ordered to wash and dry dishes after ourselves - otherwise a ln additional fee would be charged. This system results into a situation that dishes you want to use have to be washed by yourselves if you want to have it clean…”

“The buildings are dated and the bar very old school, but the dining room is fine and the food very competent and generous in proportions. The location is special and waking up to an exclusive entrance into Port Arthur was special. Probably requires a massive investment to bring up to modern standard. Cleanliness good through infrastructure dated. Parking tight for larger vehicles. ”
