“We arrived slightly earlier before the official check-in time. Fortunately, we ran into a staff member who told us our room was available, so we were able to check in. Our room was on Level 1, and since there is no lift, we had to carry our luggage upstairs. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities we needed, including a TV, wardrobe, kettle with coffee and tea, towels, toiletries, hairdryer, heater, and free Wi-Fi. The hot water worked well and there is no bidet. There were no bedroom slippers, but we had brought our own. The bed linens looked clean, though we noticed a little dust when we patted the duvet. The balcony received the afternoon sun, making it especially enjoyable during winter. We also loved seeing gang-gang cockatoos in the trees outside the balcony. One downside was that the room had no windows other than the balcony door. The room felt stuffy when the balcony door is closed. The balcony has a staircase with wheelchair lift and it has no gate, so we were reluctant to leave our balcony door opened at night. The inn is conveniently located near a shuttle bus stop, making it easy to get to and from Mt Buller Village Square. It’s also a pleasant walk, with beautiful scenery along the way. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the experience. One suggestion would be to add a few wall hooks for hanging winter jackets, which would make the room even more convenient. “The chalet is very near village square, walkable and if you have many luggages, rideshare is a convenient mode of transport there too. Facilities are wonderful and very cosy and comfortable! Hosts are very friendly and helpful too. Entire booking was a breeze in communication and coordination. Overall, an excellent stay for large families and those with kids! This is our 2nd time staying and sure recommending to all! ”
