“We had 2 rooms between us - both were comfortable & clean. The family room was a generous size and came with a microwave, toaster and kettle which was appreciated (I think the small rooms don't have a microwave?). The pool was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is also literally in the centre of town so very convenient to shops etc and the beach. The major drawback is the proximity to the bar - we were aware that there was live music some nights but that wasn't really the main issue as we go to bed late and it was over by 11pm on the Friday (no band at all on the Saturday that we stayed). The most annoying thing was that our Room 7 is very close to the beer garden which features a very large TV screen that is switched on to sport mid afternoon. The noise was pretty irritating when you are trying to relax in the room. The beer garden was also pretty noisy even after the bar closed on Friday night with a big group hanging out until about 12:30am. Apart from that - quite a nice spot - probably more enjoyable in the shoulder season.”
