“Excellent place to stay; just across the road from the airport, and a 25 minute walk into the heart of town. We were upgraded to the Stables, which have thick concrete walls and are much cooler in this hot weather. ”

“An excellent choice if you're not arriving by car. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the train station, 200 metres from the Bird Cage Hotel (great pub food), and about 400 metres to the main street with good shopping and dining options. The owners go above and beyond, offering airport pick-ups and lifts to the main attractions, including the Qantas Founders Museum and the Stockman's Hall of Fame. They even took us shopping. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with a tea and coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Cold drinks, ice cream, and even beer are available at reception. They also provide a packed breakfast. Highly recommended for a relaxed and convenient stay in Longreach.”
