“We couldn't fault this accom, the room was super clean with all you'd expect at a motel room. It was within easy walking distance to the Maraboon Tavern and just off the main road to business, shops and other food outlets. Great value for money, we'll stay here again next visit to Emerald.”

“I don't normally leave a bad review but this place needed it to hopefully get improvements. The room desperately needed updating. The air con was so loudly and I had a wheezy chest by the time I left after 2 nights (mould, damp and dust affect me this way). The ceiling had dusty cob webs. The front door locked but had a large gap where it doesn't sit it, like it doesn't fit. The sliding door to the pool the mesh had large holes, with one where the lock was. The curtain was held on by a few hooks. The bed base very old and tatty, with a what I thought was an office chair carpet protector mat underneath, not even under the wheels or anything, unsure as to why. The carpet was stained. On a plus note the bed was slightly comfy. The restaurant completely closed too. The best thing about it was the late check in procedure and communication was great.”

“Good if you want somewhere to stay a night. A little tired but its clean and tidy and has everything you need. Location is great, close to everything, great bakery a minute away. Staff are wonderful, very very friendly and helpful. Told us where to go for food and local things to do which was very much appreciated. They called to make sure we were able to find them, set the aircon up for us. Thankyou!”

“Awesome little spot. Central to our needs. Outside of the hotel made me a little worried but inside was great. We booked in the family room (3 beds across 2 rooms). The air con in the main living/2 bed area was not working well. We rang reception and they were very apologetic and moved us into 2 x 2 bed rooms. Basic facilities but all we needed for our time there. Staff were amazing and nothing was an issue. ”

“Bed too soft, maybe change to a bit more firm mattress. Overall room is nice and clean.”

“Perfect for a short stay. Modern spotless facilities, helpful staff. Across from info centre. Kitchenette was well equipped with crockery, cutlery, washing up items, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee pod espresso. Comfortable bed & settee and good sheets and towels. Would stay again.”

“The beds were comfortable and it was great to have a restaurant on site. Our room however needed a good clean and an upgrade in the bathroom.”
