“This is overall a “basic” hotel, with simple amenities and some quirks but it is competently managed and i and my family always enjoy the stay here. It feels somehow safe and homey to us! It is one of only a couple of decent places to stay in the town… and I have now stayed in Cooper Pedy dozens of times over many years with a mixture of good and bad experiences. We like the underground experience - but beware sleeping in with no natural light!! The breakfast they provide at the cafe is simple, but very accessible and my kids do just love the continental/all-you-can-eat nature of it even though it is little more than cereal, juice and toast (and you could absolutely do it yourself for cheaper). Staff are great - friendly and helpful. They can be scarce if you need them at odd times. We stayed in room 16 this time (3 singles and a double), and this particular room had a functional but wobbly toilet. Will stay again. ”

“Arrived to be welcomed by very friendly . Thought we had partial underground accommodation but given huge cabin that was spacious and very clean. Comfortable queen bed, hot water, efficient fridge, split system, toaster and hairdryer. Asked breakfast, "not provided" with our deal, told "website" was misleading. Did enjoy our stay though!”
