“Rooms are old but tidy. Being low budget means you only get the basics. So no expectations of any toiletries. A cake of soap on top of the towel. Unfortunately this site did not use the correct photos for the room types. Booked a room with a kitchenette in the photo gallery that stayed it was of this room meaning the room you were booking. Not only did it not have any cooking facilities there was not even a sink in the room. A bathroom sink is all it had. After spending over 2 hours on the phone with agoda I was not offered a room swap to the one I had booked but initially a refund of $5. So another hour spent on the phone meant I missed my booked and paid for visit to the sunset sculptures. Apparently agoda has policies that prohibit a room swap. I mean really for a hotel booking site this would seem to go against the service that their business is paid to provide. Another measly refund offer I accepted as I was exhausted from describing the issue of false information being provided by agoda to customers. Thank you to Leigh who came over from the caravan park across the road to explain where the error had occurred. She also confirmed that they did have vacant rooms with a kitchenette. Only to be told by the agoda support staff that they were fully booked. I have 1 more booking that is paid for with this company, but after another experience of disappointment and poor service I will be deleting this account. The coupons are misleading and you are not treated with honesty by the support team. Agoda you have lost a good customer. But it seems you have no policies that allow for your customers to be satisfied with your services. ”

“This hotel is in an ideal location in Broken Hill & offers extremely good facilities for any traveller. Rooms was big, mattresses firm, pillows comfortable & above all, it was spotless. Bathroom was also extremely clean with ample toiletries & very white & large towels. Although I arrived late, I did receive a friendly phone call from a staff member advising me where the key was when I arrived (after hours). Very much above average hotel which I would highly recommend to any type of traveller. ”

“This hotel really had everything we could have asked for; it was our first time in Broken Hill and it is in a close vicinity to the main high street with Bars and restaurants/coffee shops and all facilities. The room we had was a one bedroom suite with seperate bedroom and the bed was super comfortable (nice and soft). The main living room had a nice sofa and smart TV and the wifi worked really well without a hitch. The bathroom was nice and spacious even though it was a bit older styled but everything worked well including the hot water in the shower. The staff were really helpful and friendly a d we used the gueat laundry on two occasions to use their large washing machine which was a good addition for us as we had been on the road for over two weeks and needed to do some laundry. Swimming pool looked inviting but we didn't jump in this stay. Definately recommend this hotel for a couple of nights stay in Broken Hill and would definitely stay again. Couldn't fault anything with this premises. ”
