“I strangely, didn't read the reviews until after booking and was expecting a bit of a Fawlty Towers experience, however when we couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work, Basil turned out to be helpful and courteous. When we arrived, mid afternoon, reception was unattended and the door was locked, as it was also when we left, however, on arrival, after a short while a very nice Lady appeared and got us a key to our room. The room was very 1970's but nice and big, with kitchen facilities a small patio area out back and was clean and comfortable enough. We couldn't get the fridge or the hair drier to work and maintainance generally was behind the curve, but you get what you pay for on most occasions and overall it was OK.”
