“We spent 2 nights at Buccaneer Beach Hotel at the end of our 2 week trip in Antigua. The beach was busy compared to the areas where we stayed before so it’s unlikely we would stay there again. Also, they offer horse riding at the beach which I feel strongly against. The beach itself was pretty, the apartment big and spacious, and it provided everything we needed. We rented a car and made use of the nearby supermarket. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and there is also a small pool. The staff were general super friendly and helpful however the reception staff seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Not the right people to work in the service industry as they seemed to be annoyed about any questions asked. Very odd behaviour esp as the people on the island seem generally super kind and friendly. ”

“Beautiful surroundings, staff were nice & food was good. Staff could be more attentive at meal times... Took 20 mins just for a drink, and the courteously room for a shower is terrible! A bit out of the way but for a peaceful, relaxing time... Great!”

“We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom ocean view villa, which was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with a full kitchen, a large balcony and wonderful sea views. Our butler was fantastic, warm, friendly and always helpful, and we particularly enjoyed the pool and the incredibly comfortable sun loungers. Unfortunately, the beach was heavily affected by seaweed during our stay, but the resort itself was peaceful and relaxing. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay, and the space, views and wonderful breeze from the villa were real highlights.”

“Convenient location every thing was great but make sure the wrist band they put on your hand when you arrive keep it in a safe place! You’ll need it at the end of checkout or you’re charge $10 US! It’s not a lot but it’s an unnecessary charge. Also be ready to leave your room at your check out time, because they will be calling you. Overall it’s quiet, clean and safe and you can get breakfast for an additional charge. ”
