Un hôtel un peu daté dans son style mais avec un personnel tellement sympathique (surtout au petit déjeuner) qu'on passerait presque outre le fait qu'il n'y ait ni piscine -actuellement en travaux pour encore pas mal de temps- ni plage privée -la plage publique est devant l'hôtel mais pas de transat ni équipement de plage-. Les chambres viennent d'être refaites mais l'hôtel fait assez 90's...

Staff were very welcoming and Sabib arranged an early check in to a lovely sea- view apartment. We discovered that the pool was under maintenance , so they had a shuttle to transport guests to use the facilities at a nearby resort. 😊 There wasn’t much choice for casual dining or entertainment, so we went to a nearby restaurant . It was a great getaway! We would go back once the works are complete.

We had a nice stay at the Grand Hyatt. It’s well maintained and clean. The location is good and easy to get to. The staff are lovely and helpful. The one issue we had was when I made my reservation on Agoda, the booking included breakfast. When I checked in, the hotel said it did not. I showed them my reservation and they had me email it to them. I assumed it was taken care of u til the next morning at breakfast when they wanted us to pay. I explained the situation to the restaurant manager and he spoke with the front desk. They agreed to comp that meal but said we’d have to pay for the rest of the week I was not happy. So I pushed back and front desk said they would look into it and call me later in the day. I never heard from anyone so finally I contacted Agoda’s customer service. They contacted hotel management and got it resolved. Clearly there was a disconnect in the booking details between Agoda and Grand Hyatt but in no way was it my fault. What the hotel should have done automatically upon seeing my email/reservation details, was ensured I was given the included breakfasts and then worked it out with Agoda behind the scenes. Anyway, it was figured out and the breakfast buffet was lovely. I would give 5 stars except for the breakfast issue and lack of communication and understanding from the front desk staff/manager.

We spent 2 night for business trip. The location in the heart of the city and easy to acces, also have acces to the beach, as we walk to beach in the morning before breakfast. There were a lot option food at the restaurant. The room were very spacious and clean.

We recently stayed at Grand Hyatt Muscat on 20th February 2026 to celebrate our son’s 10th birthday, and this was our third visit to this beautiful hotel. We keep coming back because this is truly my son’s favourite hotel in Muscat. My son is absolutely loves beautiful spaces. He is always fascinated by the hotel lobby and is especially obsessed with the magnificent statue of the man on a horse, which he admires every time we visit. The elegance and calm atmosphere of the lobby bring him so much happiness. This stay was made truly unforgettable because of a wonderful front-desk staff member named Sharifa. From the moment we arrived, she showed exceptional kindness and genuine care toward our family. When we mentioned that we were visiting to celebrate our son’s birthday, she spoke to him so warmly and made him feel very special. To our surprise and delight, Sharifa generously upgraded our room to a beautiful suite with a stunning view. Both of our children were absolutely over the moon when they saw the room. The suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully arranged with elegant furniture and a very comforting interior. Everything was prepared perfectly, and it truly felt luxurious while still being very welcoming for a family. We are deeply grateful to Sharifa for giving us the opportunity to experience such comfort and luxury during a very meaningful family celebration. Her kindness, professionalism, and thoughtful gesture made our son’s birthday even more special and created a memory we will always cherish. I highly recommend Grand Hyatt Muscat to anyone looking for an exceptional stay, outstanding hospitality, and truly caring service. Our experience once again proved that this hotel does not only offer beautiful rooms and facilities, but also a team that genuinely understands how to make guests feel valued and respected.
