Mt Dora in summer and mid week, very quite but just what we needed. Inn is also but clean and everything g works some will think it dated and it is but that's the charm. Sit on the portch in a rocking chair with morning coffee or an evening drink overlooking the lake RELAXING in a slower pace back in time.

Old musty room. Bed was comfortable. Absolutely no amenities I asked about a refrigerator and was told there would be a charge. There is coffee in morning and that is it. I have paid same at other places and had refrigerator coffee maker and continental breakfast. Here a great view sitting on porch looking at lake which is beautiful. Not much to do in town. So…….

We just got an inexpensive room so we didn’t expect much more than a parking lot for you. Hotel is definitely historic. Hot July day in the air conditioning in the hotel lobby and restaurant did not work. Nobody’s fault. Earlier we decided to sit at the pool bar. There was a nice breeze out. The Bartender was sitting at the bar vaping. Made us less than marginal margarita and beer. I would guess the beer was 6 ounce Coors light. Bill was $19. Only could I sit at one table because the others had cobwebs under them. Front desk staff was exceedingly friendly

Quite and relaxing

Great location, hotel is beautiful charming. Great restaurant and bar. Rooms a bit outdated, some outlets were not working, hair dryer old. Amenities were not replenished neither bathroom was cleaned during our stay. Staff only changed towels and made bed.
