The Shillong Bed and Breakfast

Great breakfast and very well equipped rooms. Very polite and helpful staff. Decent location.

Room size too less,even a stool can't be kept in room. Tkere is level difference of more than Two inch between room floor and Washroom,which is very inconvenient and chances of slipping/falling is there.This is for room no. 201

We stay e there for 3 nights, rooms are very very small but very clean, nothing available for lunch or dinner. Infact u won't get anything nearby also and u need to travel 2-3 kms for main market. They won't help u to arrange dinner also from outside. Breakfast is average.

I have booked two rooms with a double bedroom here. This is my 1st time staying in a Bed and Breakfast, and the overall experience is good. Though, want to point out some problems that I faced; Despite booking two months in advance I didn't get adjacent rooms; as the number of rooms they have is very small. One of the rooms given had a damp wall and the room is small compared to two bedded room. The charging points were very few;; had to improvise a lot. The way from the street to the hotel is very steep; had to get out of the car every time. Many of their gadgets and appliances had problems had to repeatedly complain about them. The overall rooms with wooden floors and walls are beautiful. The staffs are very very helpful and polite.

Comfortable beds, nice breakfast, kind staff. They were very accommodating when I couldn't climb the stairs to the 2nd floor, and quickly found me rooms on the ground floor. They don't have enough plug points near the beds but that's a small quibble.
