The resort has lost its charm..while the exteriors are lush and green..the rooms i was were provided seemed old and needs an upgrade...wash room especially the tub was beyond dirty..the bed with sharp edges wasnt child friendly ! The food and esp breakfast was just about okay..not worth the price! location was great and close to the Central safari point

Stayed with family for an overnight stay and morning safari. The resort is a lovely, well maintained place. Clean room and facilities. The staff were friendly, responsive and courteous. The food needs a bit of improvement, the dinner buffet & breakfast options were good - but not at par with the expectation from a 5 star resort. The safari was organised by the resort and that was the biggest disappointment for me. We had two cars and we probably got the worst possible driver in Kaziranga. We started at 7:30am, the driver said he should be the first to all sites as that would improve the chances of seeing all the animals even tigers. He zipped passed the first couple of kilometres, where we had a lot of rhinos, elephants and deers. I had to ask him to stop and lets us see the animal several times, and later I lost it and asked him if he slow down and that we wanted to go slow. That’s when he took out his phone and started discussing some hotel reservations issues and stuff, we figured he also has a side business. He was constantly on the phone for the next 30 mins or so, we literally had to shout at him several times to stop the vehicle, as he was busy on the phone. He also wouldn’t stop at the appropriate place, so we had to get his to reverse the car. Worst safari experience ever, and I hold the resort responsible for this. They knew of this particular driver of having a bad history, and still assigned him to us.

Borgos is located in Kohora area. Its a beautiful resort. We stayed at premium room and it was spacious clean and beautiful. Though we didn’t have any view. The bathroom was huge with a tub. Regarding food we had in the multi cuisine restaurant the food was ok. Not good as per price. Breakfast spread was also ok. 5 star resort in South India is way far better with food and options. There are few point which they need to improve. -They need improve their hospitality towards local guest. The person in the front desk was kind of absent minded on when will the room be available. He kept saying 25 mins 25 mins it was more than an hr when i had heated argument than we got our room. - Secondly the common restroom the dining area needs a renovation - Improve their food taste Other than these we had a wonderful stay at Borgos
