This is scam. There is no hotel called Goromgo. After booking with Agoda. The hotel number is call center number in Bihar who cut calls after the 1st reach out. The reception of lake view hotel will then call 10-12 hotels and discuss rooms and money. We were shifted to chinar guest house with no windows, cigrate butts lying around. Very used bedsheets and soiled toilets. We did not have option as we were in new City. One cannot reach Agoda customer care in time of need. Even though he was a scammer but he was good at heart. He explained to me how this scam works. There is a company named Garch who take bookings showing various hotels then after the customer reaches they are put to any hotel that is available at cheap rates. There is a 60% margin on bookings with Agoda. Stay away from anything named Goromgo

We booked 2 delux room with lake view. The room was poorly maintained, dust in every corner, the dustbin was broken and dirty. One room bathroom had bad smell and one room washroom was not cleaned for months. No doubt the hotel had some of the nice lake view, but when you book 2 room for approx 4k you expect basic hygiene, which was missing . As we booked online the hotel seems to be near lake however you have to go up small lane and then climb 2 floor to get to room, which can be extreme for any elder person. Even after asking for bisleri water they only gave the ro water in used bottles. Food was ok, as they have restricted outside food. We had to order from them only. The only good thing apart from view was the staff help is taking and bringing you luggage, which was a big relief.

Personally I liked it,staff is nice and they gave us scooty on the cheap

1. Room needs to be well cleaned. 2. For two person, only one towel is provided. Please provide adequate qty. 3. No soap and other items provided. 4. Hot or lukewarm water is not provided. Refused. 5. So many basic amenities lapses. 6. Requires much more improvement.

Bedsheet and pillow wasn't changed. It was dirty. Almirah was dirty.washroom was average. The towel provided was also dirty. Recommended for 1-3 friends but not for family.
