LABDHI RESORTS STAG GROUPS NOT ALLOWED

If you go with the expectations of a luxury resort, you will be dissatisfied. It's a good Jungle Lodge. Now let me tell in more detail- - Masinagudi is a average place with multiple jungle lodges - This lodge is also one of them in the forest, but, surrounded by other similar properties. - There is no wildlife in or around the place. You may see some monkeys. - The view is good but not too stunning. - We took the wooden cottages. The design and cleanliness is nice. But, the top deck is useless since there is no ac or ventilation in it, so you can't use it. - Rooms are clean with basic amenities. - Food is Veg-only and clean. But, the problem is it's not the one of a resort which you expect when you pay high room rent. It's a basic course of South Indian cuisine. So, after one day we stopped eating there and used to eat in other places. - The support staff is excellent and very helpful. They will try to help you as per their capability. - Caretaker Manu deserves special mention. - All meals are Chargeable, mostly fixed buffet menu. Even Bon-fire is arranged at a charge of 1200 inr. - But, I feel the management is trying to cut cost. So at night all common lights are turned off while nearby resorts are well-lit. In short it's a basic lodge with veg food and support staff. Not what you expect at this price. But, that what you get in almost all places in Masinagudi. If you are planning for staying too many nights there- DONT. Masinagudi is enough for only 1 night. You will get bored. So plan accordingly.

Travellers going to ooty can certainly consider this resort. Our kids really enjoyed the stay and play area. However only downside is that there was no hot water for us in the night since it was solar heater and the resort was full. The resort is clean and at a calm location. We also saw deers running nearby.

The property is well maintained. They offer tasty homely food. The views from the property is really nice. Highly recommended property in Masinagudi.

the owner of the resort, Mr Kumar was so hospitable and took care of all our requirements with patience. the staffs there were really helpful and polite. the ambience and view was so pleasing, surrounded by birds and peaceful sunrise and sunsets..

Me and my wife stayed in the resort for 2 days. Location is very picturesque with Neelgiri hills in the background. Facility was very clean and our stay was comfortable. Food was excellent and staff were very hospitable. I would recommend Labdhi Resorts to anyone visiting Masinagudi in Mudumalai wildlife reserve.
