The stay was good. The staff was mostly courteous. Reaching the location was challenging. You don’t realise it’s so far from Ooty while booking, it could be my bad that the booking was last-minute and I didn’t do my due diligence. Though this place is good for a quiet retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you’re planning to visit Ooty for your vacation, this place is very far and not recommended . The rooms are not how they seem in the picture. The pool was quite dirty. You’ll slip if you stand inside. The staff makes you feel like you are asking for way too much when you ask them to clean the pool. They say they take 2hours to clean it, but at the end of the cleaning process you’ll just see the leaves and other floating dirt removed from the pool but the floor is as dirty as it was before. The bathtubs are old and look dirty as well. The one in our room was not usable because the plug was missing. The bathroom in the middle room is amazing otherwise, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. You can walk around the place, though it’s not as private as a guesthouse in other tea estates because the common area and other two rooms are all next to each other. The food was decent and the tour of the factory was given well by the manager at the estate. We bought tea there as well.

Best Homestay in recent past
Had the best 3 night stay in the property. The location, driving up the beaten tea estate road is a mini adventure of its own, bring a 4x4 / SUV if you want peace driving up and down. The bungalow is a beauty of its own, with the vintage charms and rustic ambiance of the colonial era. The hospitality is really amazing, kudos to Babu, Mini Akka's amazing food. Do visit if you want to stay away from the hustle life culture.
