I had a disappointing experience at Aaj Haveli, Udaipur. Before booking, the hotel did not clearly mention that there is no parking facility available. Guests travelling by car should know this in advance, especially because parking nearby is chargeable and the hotel does not cover or assist with parking charges. Another major issue is the location. The hotel is situated on a very narrow road where cars cannot reach directly, making it difficult to carry luggage or travel with family, elderly people, or heavy bags. What disappointed me most was the lack of guest support. Since vehicles cannot reach the hotel, I expected at least a pickup/drop service from the nearest accessible point, but the hotel did not provide any pickup assistance. Overall, the stay became inconvenient due to poor accessibility and lack of transportation support. I strongly suggest the hotel clearly informs guests about parking limitations and arranges pickup services for better customer experience. Overall, the stay and service were good

The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and tucked slightly away from the busy center of Udaipur, which I actually came to appreciate. It provided a quieter environment while still being accessible to everything I needed. The food was consistently good, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to help. What made this experience exceptional, however, was the owner. During a particularly difficult period of my travels, when I was considering leaving the hotel and dealing with significant personal and health challenges, he took the time to listen, help, and support me. He arranged transportation whenever I needed it so I didn’t have to walk, checked in on me, and helped create a sense of stability when I needed it most. Hospitality is easy when everything is going well. True hospitality reveals itself when a guest is struggling, and I experienced that firsthand here. The entire team treated me with kindness and respect throughout my stay, and I am genuinely grateful for the support I received during my time in Udaipur. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay with caring staff and an owner who genuinely wants guests to have a good experience, I highly recommend Aaj Haveli.
