Gite Tamsoulte

The location is not too far from downtown. Only 10 mn walk. The rooms are clean. There are enough covers. The beds are good. There is a wonderful big balcony overcoming a magnificent view of the top of the mountain. The staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a display of local people authenticity and hospitality, it was a traditional Moroccan breakfast with oil, honey, butter, cheese, eggs, tea and local bread. I highly recommend this place. Believe me you won't forget the splendid view from the balcony.

We only planned on staying one night, but Abdou was such a generous and caring host that we extended our trip and stayed with him at the Gite Tamsoulte for three nights. It was a chilly week in Imlil, but we stayed cozy with a huge pile of blankets and a propane heater. Abdou even served us delicious hot meals each evening, and an elaborate breakfast with coffee, tea, handmade bread and toppings. If you’re interested in doing any hikes in the area, Abdou is happy to share advice as he also works as a mountain guide. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and can recommend places to visit and activities to do in the area. He even went out of his way to help us find some skis to rent, since it had snowed heavily a few days before we arrived. I truly can’t recommend this place enough, it was the highlight of our whole trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, it’s the best of the best!
