Booked this hotel twice from this website. First time, we got there and they said the room online (standard triple room) wasn't an option but they got us a room with a queen and a twin. This time we booked they didn't have the reservation. Then they reached out and got it but said we didn't pay enough for the room. They provided the room we needed but said this site was costing them money-which isn't the customers problem its yours and theirs. Rooms are good. A/C works very well. Pool was nice. Food is good, occasionally the food is great.

We paid for a suite but were given a single-occupancy room on arrival. Despite showing our booking confirmation and receipt proving that a suite had been booked and paid for, we were told that Agoda had made an error. This was the first red flag. The condition of the room was also unacceptable. There were bugs hidden under the bin, the toilet was covered in bird droppings, and the balcony had no seating despite being advertised as a place to relax. Unfortunately, the food was equally disappointing. The chicken nuggets contained pieces of eggshell in the coating and were extremely hard. The restaurant ran out of butter on two separate occasions, and I waited 20 minutes for a fried egg while my husband's omelette arrived within five minutes. Even toast took an unusually long time to arrive. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share this experience. Acholi Inn was not as advertised on its website, social media, or booking platforms. The gap between the marketing and the reality was extremely disappointing. As someone with a background in hospitality, I understand the challenges hotels can face, but basic standards of cleanliness, accommodation, and food quality should still be met. Overall, our stay fell far below expectations and was a disappointing experience.

When you go with the price written on Agoda, the price they apply is double the price. They do not accept the price given by the Agoda reservation and demand twice the price at check out.
