The front desk are horrible I can give 5 stars for the atmosphere of the hotel only.... but receptionist zabil or zabeer was unprofessional doesn't know how to talk and the way how he run after us was not professional like he thought we run away and I asked for the manager they said not available during holidays, I was planning to come next time to the mirage tower not to the resort at all, if I think to visit mirage for the price offers,

We chose Mirage Bab Al Bahr Hotel for a much-needed break from our routine, specifically targeting its prime location and direct beach access. We arrived just one day after the recent heavy rain, and thankfully, our drive from Dubai was smooth, scenic, and free of any issues—in fact, the weather made the journey quite memorable. ________________________________________ 👍 The Pros • Spectacular Location: The setting is truly breathtaking. Being surrounded by picturesque mountain ranges and right next to the sea creates an amazing, tranquil environment. This was the main highlight of our stay. • Private Beach Access: The proximity to the beach with private access is a huge plus, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand without hassle. • Staff Courtesy: The staff members we interacted with were consistently courteous, welcoming, and professional, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the resort. • Dining Experience: o The breakfast menu was very good, offering a wide variety of choices. o The dinner buffet (part of our Half Board) was reasonably acceptable. • Amenities and Space: The premises house a variety of shops and cafes (including a cellar shop), adding convenience. There are ample spaces for walking and relaxing, and the pools (including a dedicated kids' pool). • Parking: No issues with parking whatsoever. ________________________________________ 👎 The Cons • Room Size & Comfort (Sea View Bungalow): We were disappointed by the very small size of the room we were allocated. Given it was a family of three, the space felt quite cramped. • Inconsistent Housekeeping Service: This was the most frustrating aspect of our stay. o Limited Amenities: The bathroom amenities were extremely limited. Unlike many other mid-star hotels, there were no basic items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, or shaving kits. Guests should absolutely carry their own. o Missing In-Room Items: We only had two coffee mugs and no water glasses. When we called housekeeping, they stated it was not their department and directed us to the restaurant. We requested them along with two spoons from the restaurant, but they never arrived. o Towel Service: Towels are usually replenished daily without asking, but here we had to call and request new towels—I even had to go out and physically search for a housekeeping team member to get them. • Poor Room Service: The room service was a real letdown due to a lack of prompt support. This was likely due to insufficient staff trying to manage a large number of guests. ⚠️ Critical Note on Half Board System (A Major Operational Flaw) We experienced a terribly embarrassing and frustrating situation regarding our Half Board booking, which was clearly indicated on our Agoda confirmation. 1. Check-in Issue: The hotel's system only showed "Bed and Breakfast." After a long discussion, involving calls and showing them the email confirmation, they finally agreed to honor the Half Board package. 2. Dinner Issue: The exact same scene was replicated at the restaurant for dinner! We were again told we were only booked for B&B. This was incredibly embarrassing to have to debate the package twice with different staff members. I conveyed my strong dissatisfaction with this severe operational disconnect between their booking, check-in, and dining systems. ________________________________________ Overall While the location and setting are truly five-star, offering a much-needed beautiful escape, the service standards and operational consistency severely detract from the experience. If you are looking solely for a scenic retreat and are prepared to bring your own toiletries and proactively chase housekeeping, you will enjoy the views and pools. However, the issues with the room size, inconsistent service, and the unacceptable confusion over the Half Board package need urgent attention.

Good value for money over all, however were no water sports on site. Resturant experience could be better. We ordered same breakfast three days and every time received a different combination. This maybe because of Ramadan / Eid days.

The staff was very kind. Facilities very good, near to the sea, there are other swimming pools as well, small water park for kids and foam party. The only thing we noticed is the stain in the room carpet. Others are great.
